Anne Simmons, DNP, is an ANCC board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner. Her primary areas of focus include Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Treatment-Resistant Depression (TRD), and Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). She offers holistic and empathetic approach to mental health care, ensuring comprehensive treatment tailored to each individual. Recognizing that every person is at a different stage in their healing journey, she prioritizes meeting patients where they are to determine the next steps. She is dedicated to providing evidence-based support and education to help individuals better understand their treatment options and what lies ahead.

Anne is deeply committed to serving Veterans and their families, including spouses and children. She has devoted significant time to developing military cultural competence, allowing her to approach Veteran families with sensitivity and understanding. Her work includes collaboration with the VA (when requested), referrals to community programs and resources, and assistance with service connection when appropriate.

Beyond clinical practice, she is passionate about reducing the stigma surrounding mental health, advocating for equitable access to care, and empowering patients and families to achieve wellness. In her personal time, she enjoys running marathons, spending time with her husband and children, training dogs, and engaging in academic research.
