Dr. Franklin N. Alier is a dedicated psychiatrist passionate about providing empathetic and comprehensive mental health care. Dr. Alier began his professional journey by training extensively in the Midwest since completing medical school in 2020. During this time, he gained valuable experience managing both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric cases, honing his expertise in treating a wide range of mental health conditions. His primary areas of focus include Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Major Depressive Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), and Bipolar Disorder. He also has extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic psychotic disorders, including Schizophrenia spectrum disorders.

In addition to his residency training in Southern Illinois, Dr. Alier is currently subspecializing in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He aims to extend his services to younger populations in the near future. While he presently works with adult patients, his bilingual fluency in English and Spanish allows him to connect with a diverse range of patients. Known for his approachable demeanor and genuine kindness, Dr. Alier strives to create a welcoming and supportive environment for his patients while providing the highest level of evidence-based care.
